SUBJECT: UPCOMING CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING – NOVEMBER 5, 2020
This is to confirm that the next meeting of the Conservation Board (CB) is Thursday,
November 5th at 5:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting is enclosed (see the back of
this memo). The draft minutes from the August 6th meeting were not available to
include in the packet. The draft minutes from the October 1st meeting are attached.
This CB meeting will be conducted through the video conferencing website Zoom
(https://zoom.us/). The instructions and Meeting ID for connecting are on the top of the
attached agenda and I will also email everyone a separate invitation with a direct link for
the meeting.
At this meeting, Paulette Rosa (Town Clerk) will provide a quick introduction/refresher
on FOIL (Freedom of Information Law) and how long Board members need to retain
various records (emails, documents, etc.). She provided an overview on this in 2017
where there were public requests for information dealing with the deer report the
Conservation Board was working on. Since there are several new members since
2017, we thought it would be good to have her explain this again to everyone.
We will need a volunteer to take minutes at the November meeting.

Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Town of Ithaca Conservation Board Meeting
scheduled for November 5, 2020 will be held electronically via Zoom, instead of a public meeting
open for the public to attend in person. Members of the public may listen to (call in on cell or
landline: (929) 436-2866 and enter the Meeting ID: 675 059 3272) or view (by computer go to
https://zoom.us/, click on “Join A Meeting” and enter the Meeting ID: 675-059-3272) the Board
meeting through Zoom.
