SUBJECT: UPCOMING CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING – OCTOBER 1, 2020
This is to confirm that the next meeting of the Conservation Board (CB) is Thursday,
October 1st at 5:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting is enclosed (see the back of this
memo). The draft minutes from the August 6th meeting were not available to include in
the packet. The draft minutes from the September 3rd meeting are attached.
This CB meeting will be conducted through the video conferencing website Zoom
(https://zoom.us/). The instructions and Meeting ID for connecting are on the top of the
attached agenda and I will also email everyone a separate invitation with a direct link for
the meeting.
At this meeting we will have a brief recap of the Fischer Award tree planting that took
place on September 20th.
Also at this meeting we will continue the discussion about the use of compostable or
biodegradable take out containers.
Lori has volunteered to take minutes at the October meeting.

Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Town of Ithaca Conservation Board Meeting
scheduled for October 1, 2020 will be held electronically via Zoom, instead of a public meeting open
for the public to attend in person. Members of the public may listen to (call in on cell or landline:
