SUBJECT: UPCOMING CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING – SEPT 3, 2020
This is to confirm that the next meeting of the Conservation Board (CB) is Thursday,
September 3rd at 5:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting is enclosed (see the back of
this memo). The draft minutes from the August 6th meeting were not available to
include in the packet.
This CB meeting will be conducted through the video conferencing website Zoom
(https://zoom.us/). The instructions and Meeting ID for connecting are on the top of the
attached agenda and I will also email everyone a separate invitation with a direct link for
the meeting.
At this meeting will continue to plan for the fall Fischer Award tree planting ceremony to
honor the Cayuga Bird Club. The event is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September
20th at 11am at Salem Park (located between 298 and 302 Birchwood Dr N).
Also at this meeting we will continue the discussion about the use of compostable or
biodegradable take out containers.
We will need a volunteer to take minutes at the September meeting.

Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Town of Ithaca Conservation Board Meeting
scheduled for September 3, 2020 will be held electronically via Zoom, instead of a public meeting
open for the public to attend in person. Members of the public may listen to (call in on cell or
landline: (929) 436-2866 and enter the Meeting ID: 675 059 3272) or view (by computer go to
https://zoom.us/, click on “Join A Meeting” and enter the Meeting ID: 675-059-3272) the Board
meeting through Zoom.
