HomeMy WebLinkAboutZBA Minutes, September 21, 2000.pdf Zoning Board of Appeals Village of Cayuga Heights Minutes of the Public Hearings of September 21, 2000 Present: David Allee, Chairman; Kenneth Robinson, David Donner, Robin Cisne Others: Ann Antil, Elizabeth DeProsse, and Kathryn Hopkins Chairman Allee called the Public Hearing to order at 7:35 PM to consider a request by Charles and Elizabeth Indelicato for a zoning variance at their property at 1001 Triphammer Road. Mr. Allee gave a brief summary of the process to be followed during the Hearing and also a summary of the request. The plan submitted calls for a relocation of the northern lot line, which would leave a remaining lot width of 104.96’. This did not comply with the minimum 125’ lot width (avg.) required in a Residence District by SECTION 7: Building Coverage, a) Lot Size, of the Village of Cayuga Heights Zoning Ordinance (Nov. 1993). The proposed relocation of this property line will resolve an existing non-conforming side yard for the property at 1003 Triphammer Road. The new property line location will maintain the required side yard setback and minimum lot coverage on the 1001 Triphammer road property. Mr. and Mrs. Indelicato explained that the motivation behind the lot line change is now that they have moved into 1003 Triphammer Road, they would like to have that property in compliance. They owned both properties (1001 and 1003). The new owners of 1001 Triphammer are aware of the proposed change. Ann Antil stated that she was not affected with the line change. Elizabeth DeProsse requested clarification on a few issues. Motion by David Donner, Seconded by Robin Cisne, VOTED to grant a zoning variance to Charles and Elizabeth Indelicato to relocate the lot line at 1001 Triphammer Road. Members Allee, Robinson, Donner and Cisne voted YES. The Public Hearing was closed at 7:50 PM. Norma Manning Village Clerk
