Minutes of the Special Meeting
November 22, 1999
Village of Cayuga Heights
Board of Trustees
Present: Mayor Anderson, Trustees Fleming, Kira, Bisogni; Treasurer Silber; Clerk
Kord.
Absent: Trustees Kusse, Meinhardt, Dunning; Attorney Tyler, Police Chief Lansing,
Fire Chief DiVenti.
Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 5:15 PM. Treasurer Silber
presented the Abstract of Warrants.
Motion by Trustee Fleming, seconded by Trustee Bisogni,
VOTED to approve the Abstract of Warrants in the following amounts: General Fund,
$48,059.46; Sewer Fund, $6,387.45; Water Fund, $5,034.69; Capital Fund, $14,090.23.
Trustees Fleming, Kira, Bisogni and Mayor Anderson voted YES.
Treasurer Silber has been in communication with The Computing Center and has
received a quote for computer support for the Village.
Resolution 5154 - Authorize agreement with Computing Center
Motion by Trustee Fleming, seconded by Trustee Kira, '
VOTED to authorize Treasurer Silber to enter into agreement with The Computing
Center for computer support for the Village up to the amount of $5,000.00. Trustees
Fleming, Kira, Bisogni and Mayor Anderson voted YES.
Treasurer Silber suggested that there was a need to have a Project Manager to
oversee the Village Firehouse Project. There was a brief discussion of the role of Project
Manager and how he would function on this project.
Treasure Silber also gave the Board an update on progress of the new accounting
software installation. There continues to be problems with the MCS Spectrum software
and he is considering going to another software system. He will continue to investigate
the options.
There was a brief discussion of the Deer Committee recommendations. It was felt
that there was not enough solid information to make any decisions at this time.
Motion by Trustee, Kira, seconded by Trustee Bisogni,
VOTED to adjourn at 5:55 PM. Trustees, Fleming, Kira, Bisogni, and Mayor Anderson
voted YES.
