BOARD OF TRUSTEES
2 5 Minutes of a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga
Heights held May 6, 1998 at 5:00 PM in the Village Hall to review the revised
draft of the proposed Local Law #3 of 1998 entitled, "Telecommunication Towers
and Facilities."
PRESENT: Mayor Anderson; Trustees Collyer, Kira, Meinhardt; Attorney Tyler.
ABSENT: Trustees Bisogni, Fleming, Kusse.
Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM.
Attorney Tyler reviewed the draft of the Local Law, page by page, addressing
specific changes that were.made to the previous draft.
Motion by Trustee Collyer, seconded by Trustee Meinhardt:
'RESOLUTION 4917 - PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER PROPOSED LOCAL LAW #3 of 1998
VOTED to hold a public hearing on May 18, 1998 at.7:00 PM to consider a
proposed Local Law U3 of 1998 entitled, "Telecommunication Towers and Facili-
ties." Trustees Collyer, Kira, Meinhardt, Mayor Anderson voted YES.
The Mayor reported on the April 30 Cable Commission meeting he attended. It was
the consensus of Trustees present.that he be given authorization to sign the
Rice agreement (see Minutes of March 16), unless he can delay-the signing until I
after the May'18 Board meeting when.fhe matter. -can be discussed.by the full
Board 'as - Trustee- Collyer r'dcommends.
Discussion ensued regarding the proposal of bulk sale of water to the City of
Ithaca (see Minutes of 4/6/98, Resolution #4902). It was the consensus of the
1 Trustees that it should not be sold for a minimum cost, but should include a
reasonable, additional fee to cover maintenance costs.to the system.and further,.
-- to evaluate the agreement each year.
Motion by Trustee Collyer, seconded by Trustee Meinhardt to adjourn the meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 5:45 PM
