VILLAGE OF t:AYUCA HEIGHT
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Minutes of a special meeting of the Board of Trustees held an January 5, 1998
at 5:30 PM in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor Anderson; Trustees Bisogni, Collyer, Kira, Meinhardt; Attorney
Tyler.
ASSENT: Trustees Fleming and Kusse.
Mayor Anderson called the special meeting to order and opened the public hearing
to consider a proposed Local Law O1 of 1998 entitled, "Moratorium on Telecommuni-
cations Towers, Village of Cayuga Heights, Tompkins County, State of New York."
The public hearing, originally scheduled for 5:30 PM, was delayed due to the late
arrival of Trustees whose presence was required in order to constitute a quorum.
There were no members of the public present, nor had any appeared in the meeting
room from 5:30 PM until the time the special meeting was called to order at 6:00
PM.
The language of the Local Law was briefly reviewed with approval of the 120 -day
period of the moratorium which, it .was agreed, would provide ample time for the .
Board to decide on the language of an ordinance. The public hearing was declared
closed at 6:15 PM.
Moved by Trustee Kira, seconded by Trustee Collyer:
RESOLUTION 4885 - ADOPT LOCAL LAW #1 OF 1998
VOTED to adopt Local Law U1 of 1998 entitled, "Moratorium on Telecommunications
Towers, Village of Cayuga Heights, Tompkins County, State of New York."
Trustees Bisogni, Collyer, Kira, Meinhardt voted YES.
Moved by Trustee Meinhardt, seconded by Trustee Kira to adjourn the meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 6 :17 PM
