VILLAGE OF CAYUGA HEIGHTS
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Minutes of a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga
Heights held April 12, 1996 at 4:30 PM in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor Anderson; Trustees Collyer, Kira, Kozen; Treasurer Silber;
Supt. of Public Works Cross.
ABSENT: Trustees Bisogni, Fleming, Kusse, Police Chief Wall; Fire Supt. Day.
Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order stating its purpose.
Motion by Trustee Kozen, seconded by Trustee Kira:
RESOLUTION 4754 - APPROVE LIST OF OFFICERS
VOTED to approve the List of Officers for the Cayuga Heights Fire Department.
(List attached to Official Minute Book). Trustees Collyer, Kira, Kozen, Mayor
Anderson voted YES.
During the brief discussion regarding the continuation of publication of Village
Voices, the Treasurer pointed out that editorial policy will need to be determined
if the Village takes over the publication. It was agreed that Elizabeth Mount,
Editor, will be informed that the Board supports her and details will be worked out
in the near future.
Report of Police Chief was placed on file.
Treasurer Silber submitted his report which has been placed on file.
Motion by Trustee Kira, seconded by Trustee Collyer:

Trustees Collyer, Kira, Kozen, Mayor Anderson voted YES.
Moved by Trustee Collyer, seconded by Trustee Kira:
VOTED to approve the Abstract of Warrants dated 4/12/96 in the following amounts:
General Fund - 21,287.36; Sewer Fund - $10,137.33. Trustees Collyer, Kira,
Kozen, Mayor Anderson voted YES.

Supt. of P.W. reported that he would Like to purchase two equipment items. There
was discussion regarding the financing, etc. during which time the Treasurer was
excused from the meeting at his request to attend another meeting.

Motion by Trustee Kozen, seconded by Trustee Kira:
RESOLUTION 4756 - AUTHORIZE PURCHASE OF DPW EQUIPMENT
VOTED to authorize Supt. of P.W. Cross to purchase a backhoe at State Contract
price of $37,285 and a one -ton dump truck at State Contract price of $26,203,
to be expended from the current year's budget. Trustees Collyer, Kira, Kozen,
Mayor Anderson voted YES.
