Minutes of a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga
Heights held May 29, 1992 at 4:30 p.m. in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor Anderson; Trustees Collyer, Fleming, Perry, Pimentel; Treasurer
Silber; Supt. of Public Works Rogers.
ABSENT: Trustees Janis and Kira.
Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order noting its primary purpose was to pay
year -end bills and to consider adoption of the draft version of "Procurement
Policies and Procedures" as presented by the Treasurer.
Motion by Trustee Collyer, seconded by Trustee Fleming:
RESOLUTION 4377 - APPROVE TRANSFERS
VOTED to approve the Transfers as recommended by the Treasurer. Copy attached to
Official Minute Book. Trustees Collyer, Fleming, Perry, Pimentel voted YES.
Motion by Trustee.Pimentel, seconded by Trustee Fleming:
VOTED to approve the Abstract of Warrants dated 5/29/92 in the following amounts:
General Fund - $25,985.42; Sewer Fund - $19,077.79. Trustees Collyer, Fleming,
Perry, Pimentel voted YES.
After brief discussion concerning the draft:-document "Procurement Policies and
Procedures" and a comment from Trustee Collyer who questioned whether the person
issuing purchase orders should also be the person receiving, the Board took action
as follows:
Motion by Trustee Collyer, seconded by Trustee Fleming:
RESOLUTION 4378 - APPROVE "PROCUREMENT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES"
VOTED to approve the document entitled "Procurement Policies and Procedures" which
sets forth the policies and procedures of the Village of Cayuga Heights to meet the
requirements of General Municipal Law, Section 104 -b. Trustees Collyer, Fleming,
Perry, Pimentel voted YES.
