Minutes 12/10/1992110 VILLAGE OF CAYUGh HEIGHTS BOARD OF TRUSTEES Minutes of a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga Heights held December 10, 1992 at 4:30 PM in the Village Hall. PRESENT: Mayor Anderson; Trustees Collyer, Fleming, Janis, Kira, Pimentel; Supt. of Public Works Rogers. ABSENT: Trustee Perry, Attorney Geldenhuys, Tress. Silber. OTHERS PRESENT: Tom Niederkorn and Barbara Blanchard. Mayor Anderson opened the meeting with a summary of the written comments relative to the recent public hearing re Draft GEIS and Planned Unit Development. Of the eight letters received, five were in favor of the PUD, one asked that there be no "spot" zoning, and of the remaining two (both non - residents), one was totally opposed to any development on the Savage Farm and the other was concerned about the appearance of a conflict of interest. Trustee Janis voiced his concerns about the impact on Village taxes and also on real estate values and said he hoped at some point there would be answers to these questions. The question of public safety services provided by the Village was addressed and how Kendall would compensate the Village for the exempt portion of their development. The Board reviewed the Memo from Attorney Geldenhuys dated 12/9/92. They accepted her suggestion to clarify definitions of "dwelling unit" and "residence!' and there will be further discussion concerning this. Items to be considered: signs, pedestrian circulation in and outside the development, traffic circulation features within and contiguous to the site. Mr. Niederkorn advised that the final PUD should contain all of the eight comments and responses; and relative to the Draft GEIS, if the •Eoard has no problem with it, it may take action to accept the Draft Statement as the Final one and identify it as such at the December 21st regular meeting. Meeting adjourned at 6:30 PM Anne Krohto Clerk
