RE: March 2012 Report
The majority of visitors in the office continue to be residents who are purchasing
garbage tags, wish to have items notarized and residents wishing to speak with the
Superintendent of Public Works.
The majority of the calls for the month of March have been forwarded to the
Superintendent of Public Works. Many of these calls were in regards to fence
compliance. A large volume of calls and questions by visitors were related to the recent
election. Several callers/visitors have asked for absentee ballots and were directed to
the Board of Elections located at 128 E Buffalo Street.
There were five FOIL requests for the month of March.
Treasurer Mangione, Clerk Mills and I continue our efforts toward bringing the
accounting records to be current within the new Williamson accounting system. This
task is almost complete.
The cleaning company BPJS has withdrawn there proposal. They have stated due to
unforeseen circumstance they would be unable to accommodate our needs. We will
continue to look onto an alternate cleaning company that will provide improved service.
Treasurer Mangione has signed a contract with Finger Lakes Technologies for an
engineering analysis. This analysis will determine if any costs will be involved in
switching over to Finger Lakes.
