That landwas specifically noted as land that could be annexed into ihe Community Corners commercial zone, Mr.Mecenas has been patiently waiting to see whether his land will be annexed (zoning changed) or whetherhe should commence construction of residential duplex units for sale/rent under the cu*eit zoning. Since my last correspondence to the Board, it would appear that acommittee has been created toaddress all possible changes to the zoninglaws. It is my understanding, however, that this committee hasnot been charged with determining whether to expand tLe Community-Corners to include the Mecenasvacant land. Therefore, we are requesting that the Village Board immediately take up and address the questionof whether Mr. Mecenas' land will be annexed und b."o- e apartof the Community Corners commercialzoning. Regardless of whether the Board decides to substantially change the existing zoning, Mr. Mecenas needs to know whether his land will become part of tfre larger-Community-CornerJcommercial zone' Although Mr. Mecenas has been patiently waiting, it is not reasonable for him to wait in limbo anylonger, Therefore, Mr. Mecenas respectfully requests that the Board address the above noted question assoon as possible' Given the length of time Mr. Mecenas has been waiting, if the Board determines thatitwill not address this question in the next few months, Mr. Mecenas will need to take advantage of theremainder of the current selling year and seek to immediately start building, selling and,lorr"itirrgresidential properties.
