In preparation for the possible vote on the fence law, I have done further research of existing
properties with fences. I have now looked at 688 out of a total of 930 lots. Again, the "survey" was
done at a cursory level for the purpose of analysis. I suspect that my evaluation may not meet
professional methods, but simple math indicates following:
688 inspected lots equals '74% of all Village
336 lots with a fence equals 49% of allVillage
Therefore 49o/o of 930 total lots predicts 456 with some kind of a fence
15% of all fences are in violation of the existing les equals 68 fences violations
37% of all fence violations would not be
violation
Therefore 63% of fence violations would be
saved from enforcement
