RE: November 2011 Report
There were two FOIL requests for the month of October.
Last month Joan and I visited with Matthew Valaik, Tompkins County Trust regarding
the use of electronic depositing. The bank has supplied the scanner and provided the
training needed to make deposits on line. This process will enhance office accuracy
and become a time saver with fewer trips to the bank making deposits. This is the first
week of working with this process and it seems to be going well.
At the writing of this memo Joan and I are striving to complete the initial data input work
into the Williamson accounting program. I am confident that once the June month has
been balanced and closed the following months will follow closely behind and bring us
up to date to be able to provide you with accurate monthly balances/closings in a timely
manner.
I have approached Stephen DeWitt regarding him and Elizabeth Cree providing a
proposal to the Board regarding moving the date of the Village elections for either
January or February – which ever you decide would be best.
