Cowett, S. Cunningham, R. Segelken and D. Hay Deputy Clerk A. Podufalski, Code Enforcement Officer B. Cross Item 1 – Meeting called to order · Chair F. Cowett opened the meeting at 7:01 pm. Item 2- September 22, 2014 Minutes Motion: D. Hay Second: R. Segelken RESOLUTION No. 147 APPROVING MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 22, 2014 RESOLVE, that the written, reviewed and revised minutes of the September 22, 2014 meeting are hereby approved. Aye votes – Chair F. Cowett, S. Cunningham, D. Hay, and R. Segelken Opposed- None Item 3- Public Comment · No members of the public wished to comment. Item 4- 435 Wyckoff Rd. · Code Enforcement Officer B. Cross gave an overview of the proposed project, a 29’ long by 8’ wide porch addition to the front of the sorority building. Although the building and addition are wholly within the Village, part of the land required to meet the Village’s zoning setback regulation is located in the City of Ithaca. Based on discussions with NYCOM and legal counsel, the project is compliant with height, area, and setback regulations of the Village and therefore not subject to a variance from the Zoning Board of Appeals. Cross informed the Board that the property falls within 500 ft. of the City of Ithaca and is therefore subject to General Municipal Law review by Tompkins County. · Contractor, Collin Smith, discussed the project specifics and answered questions for the Board. The Board requested additional information regarding proposed lighting associated with the project. · The Board discussed scheduling a public hearing and if the project should be considered a Type II or Unlisted SEQR Action. Motion: D. Hay Second: S. Cunningham RESOLUTION No. 148 ACCEPT PROJECT AT 435 WYCKOFF RD AS A TYPE II SEQR ACTION RESOLVE, that the project proposal at 435 Wyckoff Rd is categorized as a Type II SEQR action and is exempt from SEQR review under section 617.5(c)(7). Aye votes – Chair F. Cowett, S. Cunningham, D. Hay, and R. Segelken Opposed- None Motion: S. Cunningham Second: R. Segelken RESOLUTION No. 149 TO HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROJECT AT 435 WYCKOFF RD RESOLVE, that a public hearing will be held on December 22, 2014 at 7:10 pm regarding the site plan review for the proposed project at 435 Wyckoff Rd. Aye votes – Chair F. Cowett, S. Cunningham, D. Hay, and R. Segelken Opposed- None Item 5-Other Business · Code Enforcement Officer B. Cross informed the Board of an applicant who may require a site plan review in December. Item 6- Adjourn Chair F. Cowett adjourned the meeting at 7:45 p.m.
