Phillips Secretary Re: Solar Simplified, LLC - DER Registration Review Thank you for your recent submittal pursuant to §3.A of the New York State DPS's Uniform Business Practices for Distributed Energy Resource Suppliers (UBP-DERS), which was adopted by the Commission in case 15-M-0180. This letter is to inform you that the documentation submitted has been reviewed by DPS Staff and determined to be in compliance with the UBP-DERS. Be advised that to maintain your DERS eligibility, and per the UBP-DERS, you must notify Staff of any contact changes, material legal, financial or business -related changes to your company as they occur. If your business plan changes or you decide to expand your service offerings, you must immediately submit the appropriate documentation for Staff review and determination of if and how it may affect your current eligibility. Additional requirements to maintain your eligibility are the annual and triennial reporting requirements. More specifically, on March 31st of every year, you must provide information from the previous calendar year including aggregate number of customers served, summary of services provided, information on the number and classification of complaints received, and any changes to your registration information. You are also required to update all of the information submitted in your original registration package to the Department every three years, starting from the filing date of the complete registration package, which was June 10'n, 2020. Finally, note that if you are using third -party vendors to provide DER related services (e.g., EDI, marketing), the DER Supplier remains fully responsible for any activities the vendors perform. If you have not already done so, or if you have changed vendors since last reporting them to us, please provide Staff a list with contact information for all vendors that you are now using. Attached, please find copies of the Order Establishing the DER Oversight Framework in case 15- M-0180, the Uniform Business Practices for Distributed Energy Resource Suppliers and the Home Energy Fair Practices Act (HEFPA).
