SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
Town of Ulysses
Feb. 8, 2024
The meeting was held in person at the Town Hall at 10 Elm St., Trumansburg NY as well as via Zoom
videoconference. Notice of Town Board meetings are posted on the Town’s website and Clerk’s board.

CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Olson called the meeting to order at 8am.
ATTENDANCE:
TOWN OFFICIALS
Supervisor- Katelin Olson
Board members- Liz Weatherby, Mary Bouchard,
Town Clerk- Carissa Parlato
ATTENDING VIA ZOOM (due to extenuating circumstances)
Board member Rich Goldman
OTHERS:
none
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Motion: Ms. Bouchard moved to approve the agenda as presented at 8am. This was seconded by Mr.
Boggs and passed unanimously.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Ms. Weatherby moved to go into Executive Session at 8:01am for matters leading to the
appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a
particular person. This was seconded by Ms. Bouchard and passed unanimously.
The board returned from Executive Session at 8:09am.
RESOLUTION #56 of 2024: AUTHORIZING THE TOWN SUPERVISOR TO HIRE A LAW FIRM IN HER
DISCRETION TO CONDUCT A CONFIDENTIAL INVESTIGATION
RESOLVED the Ulysses Town Board authorizes the Town Supervisor to hire a law firm in her
discretion to conduct a confidential investigation.

Mr. Goldman made a move to adjourn at 8:10am. This was seconded by Ms. Bouchard and passed
unanimously.
