LOCAL LAW NO. 15 OF THE YEAR 2021
A LOCAL LAW AMENDING
CHAPTER 23, CONSERVATION BOARD, OF THE TOWN OF ITHACA CODE
TO ALLOW STIPENDS FOR CONSERVATION BOARD MEMBERS
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 23 (Conservation Board) of the Town of Ithaca Code, Section 23-7,
titled"Compensation and expenses,"is amended by deleting the existing language of the Section
in its entirety and replacing it with the following language:
"The Town Board of the Town of Ithaca is authorized to compensate the Town of Ithaca
Conservation Board members (but not associates) on the basis of a stipend per Conservation
Board meeting attended by such members."
Section 2. In the event that any portion of this law is declared invalid by a court of
competent jurisdiction, the validity of the remaining portions shall not be affected by such
declaration of invalidity.
Section 3. This local law shall take effect on January 1, 2022.
