HomeMy WebLinkAboutLL 14 of 2021 No Parking Sand Bank Rd TOWN OF ITHACA LOCAL LAW NO. 14 OF THE YEAR 2021 A Local Law Amending Chapter 250 of the Town of Ithaca Code, titled "Vehicles and Traffic," to Prohibit Parking on the North side of Sand Bank Road (1) Southeast of the Intersection of Sand Bank Road and Townline Road, and (2)West of the Intersection of Sand Bank Road and King Road W Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca as follows: Section 1. Pursuant to Section 130 of the Town Law of the State of New York, and Section 1660 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York, Chapter 250 (Vehicles and Traffic) of the Town of Ithaca Code, Section 250-16, titled"Parking of vehicles", Subparagraph A, is hereby amended by adding new subdivisions 29 and 30 reading as follows: "(29) On the north side of Sand Bank Road, beginning 720 feet south of its intersection with Townline Road and proceeding 400 feet southeast along the curve of Sand Bank Road (all measurements are along the center line of Sand Bank Road), and (30) On the north side of Sand Bank Road, beginning 700 feet west of its intersection with King Road W and proceeding 1,700 feet west of the center line of King Road W." Section 2. In the event that any portion of this law is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the validity of the remaining portions shall not be affected by such declaration of invalidity. Section 3. This local law shall take effect upon its filing with the New York Secretary of State.
