Boyd Blatchley and Helen F. Blatchley Town of Ithaca. : his wife, both of the Town of Ithaca, County of Tompkins, New York, - - -- -- - - - - - - - X parties of the first part, and Town of Ithaca, in Tompkins County, New York, party of the second part, WITNESSETH that the parties of the first part, in consideration of One Dollar (=1.00) lawful money of the United States, and other good and valuable consideration paid by the party of the second part, do hereby grant and release unto the party of the second part, its successors and assigns forever, ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND situat in the Town of Ithaca, County of Tompkins and State of New York, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point on the easterly boundary of the E. C. & N. Railroad road bed which said point is 101 south at that point of the northerly boundary of property of the parties of the first part; thence running from said point easterly a distance of 9501 to a point in the westerly boundary of property heretofore sold by the parties of the first part to Elmer German, and making a right angle at said point; thence running northerly along the westerly boundary of the said German property a distance of 121; thence running westerly along a curved line to a point in the easterly boundary of the E.Ce & N. Railroad road bed; thence running southerly a distance of 101 to the point of beginning. Being a piece of land taken off of the northerly boundary of property of the parties of the first part between the said E. C. & N. road bed and property of !fir German, which said piece of land is 121 deep an the east and 20' deep in the middle and 101 deep on the west end and contains 0.327 acres of land. The purpose of this conveyance is to convey to the party of the second part, land to straighten and widen the highway running along said property, which said highway is commonly known as the highway leading in an easterly direction from the Catskill Turnpike to the highway leading in a northerly direction from the Catskill Turnpike to the Snyder Hill highway. Being a portion of the premises conveyed to V. Boyd Blatchley, one of the parties of the first part, by deed of Chauncey P. Biggs and Susan C. Biggs, his wife, dated May 15, 1920 and recorded in Tompkins County Clerk's Office on the 12th day of June, 1920 in Liber 197 at Page 242. TOGETHER with the appurtenances and all the estate mad rights of the parties of the first part in and to said premises, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the premises herein granted unto the party of the second part, its successors and assigns forever.
