Commissioner Richardson called the meeting to order at 10:02 am.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Abrams made a motion to approve the minutes from the April 2, 2014
meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Thompson. Motion carried 3-0.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Richardson made a motion to go into executive session to discuss civil
service examination matters. Seconded by Commissioner Thompson. Motion carried 3-0.
During executive session, the Commission took the following actions:
CONTINUING BUSINESS
Approval of Rosters of Candidates for Examination
Commissioner Thompson made a motion to approve the Rosters of Candidates for
Examination listed below. Seconded by Commissioner Abrams. Motion carried 3-0.
Sidewalk Program Manager #63-614
Superintendent of Public Works #63-305
Establishment of Eligible Lists
Commissioner Richardson made a motion to establish the eligible lists specified below for
the time period indicated. Seconded by Commissioner Abrams. Motion carried 3-0.
Assistant Fire Chief #73-248 (2 years)
Entry Level Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations #2014-5 (2 years)
Firefighter #60-679 (1 year)
Utilities Systems Location Technician #60-785 (1 year)

Approval of Personnel Transactions
Commissioner Thompson made a motion to approve the Personnel Transactions.
Seconded by Commissioner Abrams. Motion carried 3-0.
The next Civil Service Commission meeting will be held Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 9:30
am.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:40 am.
