Commissioner Richardson called the meeting to order at 9:52 am.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Thompson made a motion to approve the minutes of the February 29, 2012
meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Abrams. Motion carried 3-0.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Richardson made a motion to go into executive session to discuss civil
service examination matters. Seconded by Commissioner Abrams. Motion carried 3-0.
During executive session, the Commission took the following actions:
CONTINUING BUSINESS
Approval of Rosters of Candidates for Examination
Commissioner Abrams made a motion to approve the Rosters of Candidates for
Examination listed below. Seconded by Commissioner Thompson. Motion carried 3-0.
Motor Equipment Maintenance Supervisor #79-182
Motor Equipment Mechanic Supervisor #79-184
Motor Equipment Mechanic Supervisor #63-311
Establishment of Eligible Lists
Commissioner Richardson made a motion to establish the eligible lists specified below for
the time period indicated. Seconded by Commissioner Thompson. Motion carried 3-0.
Assistant Fire Chief #70-543 (2 years)
Deputy Fire Chief #70-749 (2 years)
Deputy Fire Chief #68-711 (1 year)
Extension of Eligible List
Commissioner Abrams made a motion to extend Community Service Officer Eligible List
#69-998 until May 12, 2013. Seconded by Commissioner Thompson. Motion carried 3-0.

Approval of Personnel Transactions
Commissioner Thompson made a motion to approve the Personnel Transactions.
Seconded by Commissioner Abrams. Motion carried 3-0.
The next Civil Service Commission meeting will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 9:30
am. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:25 am.
