HomeMy WebLinkAboutBF063821-001 149 Deed No. 229 do hereby grant and release unto the parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns forever., ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND,-situate in the Toym of Enfield., County of Tompkins., and State of New York, being a part of Lot No. Fifty-two (52) and bounded as follows: Beginning on the west line of said Lot at the south-west comer of six acres of land owned by Mrs. Eliza Rothermitch., running thence east fourteen (14) chains and fifty-two (52) links; thence north four (4) chains and thirteen and one-half (132) links; thence east eight (8) chains and forty- or one (41) links; thence south twenty (20) chains and fourteen (14) links; thence east five (5) chains and two (2) links.* thence south seventeen (17) chains and thirty-three (33) links; thence west sixteen (16) chains and fifty (50) links; thence north three (3) chains and sixty-one (61) links.; thence west eleven chains (11) and forty-three (43) links; to the west line of Lot No. Fifty-two (52); thence north along said west line thirty (30) chains and seven (7) links to the place of beginning., containing eighty,five (85) acres of land. Being the. same premises as con- veyed to Charles H. Hubbell by deed recorded in the Tompkins County Clerk's Office in Liber 3 of Enfield Deeds at page 221. Also being the same premises conveyed to Silas E. �iubb.ell by the heirs of Charles E. Hubbell., deceased,. dated February 8., 1923. E,,, November 21, 1928, is described as follows: Beginning at the southerly terminus of the cen- ter line of Berkshire Road, said point being at the-intersection with the center line of High- 14 V i� .Deed No. 229 y land Road and midway between two iron pipe monuments that are 50 feet apart to mark the easterly P and westerly limits of the road intersection, said point of beginning being 67 feet northerly center of a bend in a large concrete culvert that asses under Highland Road; running from the g p thence along the center line of Berkshire Road on a curve to the left with a chord of North 1 degree 13 minutes West 171 feet to the intersection with the center line of West Remington Road, said point being 50.6 feet southeasterly from an iron pipe that marks the northwesterly corner of said intersection of roads and being also North 81 degrees 8 minutes West 55 feet from the intersection of the easterly terminus of West Remington Road with the center line of Highland Road; thence continuing along the center line of Berkshire Road on a curve to the left with a chord of North 35 degrees West 234 feet to a point 25 feet easterly at right angles from an iron pipe monument set in the west line of said road and marking the point of reversal of curvature; thence continuing along the center line of said road on a curve to the right 'With a chord of North 26 degrees 45 minutes West 165 feet to the intersection with the center line of the first culvert; thence continuing along the center line of said road on a flat curve to the right with a chord of North 11 degrees 25 minutes West 196 feet and then another chord of North 4 degrees 30 minutes West 274 feet to a point 62 feet northerly from the center of the second culvert and 25 feet easterly at right angles from an iron pipe monument set in the westerly line of the road and marking the point of reversal of curvature; thence conti uing along the center line of said road on a curve to the left with a chord of North 3 degrees 5 minutes West 206 feet and then another chord of North 6 degrees 13 minutes West 153.5 feet to a point 25 feet easterly at right angles from an iron pipe monument set in the westerly line of said road; thence continuing along the center line of said road on a curve to the left with chords first of North 14 degrees , 43 minutes West 172 feet, then of North 43 degrees 7 minutes West 144.5 feet, and then of North 76 degrees 21 minutes West 174.5 feet to a point 25 feet northerly at right angles from an iron pipe monument set in the southerly line of--said road and also about in line with the center of a lane that leads to the north; thence continting along the center line of said road on a curve to the left with a chord of South 89 degrees 32 minutes West 85 feet to a point 20.5 feet north- erly at right angles from the center of a 2211 oak tree; thence continuing along the center of said road in a straight line South 84 degrees 56 minutes West 235.5 feet to the westerly termin- us of said road at a point in the easterly line of Cayuga Heights Road and midway between two iron pipe monuments that are 50.3 feet apart and that mark the intersection of the two side lines of Berkshire Road with the easterly line of Cayuga Heights Road and being 25 feet easterly from the center of the latter road.
