PUBLIC HEARING

The meeting was held in person at the Ulysses Town Hall, 10 Elm St., Trumansburg NY 14886.

OPENING THE HEARING:
Ms. Olson asked for a motion to open the public hearing.
Ms. Marino moved to open the hearing at 7:02pm. This was seconded by Mr. Boggs and passed unanimously.
Ms. Olson invited public comment.
Hearing none, she read a comment submitted by Vivien Rose:
My name is Vivien Rose. I live at 104 Pennsylvania Avenue and have asked to have this read into the
record as I am unable to attend this public meeting re: the proposed tax levy due to working as a poll
worker in today’s Election of Federal and State representatives.
I am unaware of receiving additional Town services as a Village of Trumansburg resident. Please
provide justification for additional Town tax levy (4.17% levy increase) for Village of Trumansburg
residents vs. 3.07% levy increase for Town residents outside the village boundary at p. 2 line 114 of
draft resolutions, 10/25/2022. If none, please charge all Town residents the same percentage. Thank
you.
Since no one else was in attendance, Ms. Olson asked for a motion to close the hearing.
CLOSING THE HEARING:
Mr. Boggs made a motion to close hearing ay 7:09pm. This was seconded by Mr. Boggs and passed
unanimously.
