SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
Budget Discussion
Town of Ulysses
October 8, 2014

The meeting was held at the Ulysses Town Hall at 10 Elm Street, Trumansburg.
PRESENT:
Supervisor- Liz Thomas
Board members- Rich Goldman, John Hertzler, Nancy Zahler, Dave Kerness
Clerk- Carissa Parlato
Ms. Thomas called the meeting to order at 8:07 a.m.
The board continued their discussion of the 2015 Tentative Budget, starting with line A5132
(Highway).
The board discussed the possibility of a Jacksonville property being foreclosed upon and sold at the
county tax sale in June of 2015. As such, the following resolution was put forth:
RESOLUTION 2014-176:
BE IT RESOLVED that Ulysses Town Board put $10,000 into Contingency for the purpose of
purchasing property.

The board recessed from 9:05-9:08 a.m.
Discussion of the budget resumed and then closed, ending with the completion of the A Fund section.
Mr. Goldman made a motion to move into Executive Session at 10 a.m., seconded by Ms. Zahler;
passed unanimously.
Ms. Thomas made a motion to come out of Executive Session at 10:20 a.m., seconded by Mr.
Kerness; passed unanimously.
Mr. Goldman made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:20 a.m., seconded by Mr. Kerness; passed
unanimously.
