TO: Volunteer Companies

SUBJECT: "2%" Reports
Attached is the request from the NYS Comptroller's Office for your company's annual
report of expenditure of 2% monies for 1998, which was just forwarded to me. There
appear to be no changes in the state's reporting procedures from prior years.
Also please see the enclosed memo from the Town of Ithaca, which, for the first time
this year, is also requesting a copy of your report.
Although under the revised timetable established in the Volunteer Company Contracts
your annual report of expenditure of City budget money is not required before June,
please forward us a copy of your "2%" report at the same time you send it to the state.
We'll compile the "20/o° reports from all companies and forward the requested
information to the Town of Ithaca.

Per treasurer Dan Maas, the tax-exempt#for Neriton Fire Company#9 is
EX 132505.
He will also provide Co.9's taxpayer ID #, but says he needs to locate it first.
