The meeting was held at the Ulysses Town Hall at 10 Elm Street, Trumansburg.

Ms. Thomas called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA
RESOLUTION 2014-172:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Ulysses Town Board approve the agenda for the Sept. 23, 2014
meeting with the addition of an executive session right after Privilege of the Floor.

RESOLUTION 2014-173:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Ulysses Town Board approve the minutes of the 9/9/14 Public
Hearing and the 9/9/14 Town Board meeting as edited by Ms. Zahler.

Ms. Thomas made a motion to move into executive session at 7:07pm to discuss matters of personnel,
seconded by Mr. Hertzler.
Ms. Zahler made a motion to come out of executive session at 7:43pm; seconded by Mr. Goldman,
passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
PERSONNEL POLICY — possible adoption
Ms. Thomas suggested that the board amend the Call-in Pay to 3 hours.
The groups discussed this and agreed.
RESOLUTION 2014-174:
WHEREAS the town board has updated its personnel policy, and
WHEREAS the proposed policy has been discussed and shared with employees and managers,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the personnel policy as amended on 9/23/14 be
adopted and take effect on Jan. 1, 2015.

BE IT RESOLVED that Special Meetings of the Town Board will be held on Oct. 2, 5pm; Oct.
8, Sam; and Oct. 13, 1oam-12pm to review the 2015 budget.
