SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING #2
Tentative Water District Budget Discussion
Town of Ulysses
Sept. 20, 2022
The meeting was held in person at the Town Hall at 10 Elm St., Trumansburg NY as well as via Zoom
videoconference. Notice of Town Board meetings are posted on the Town’s website and Clerk’s board.

CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Olson called the meeting to order at 11:01am.
ATTENDANCE:
TOWN OFFICIALS
In person:
Town Clerk- Carissa Parlato
Budget Officer- Michelle E. Wright
Board members- Michael Boggs, Roxanne Marino
Via Zoom (under extraordinary circumstances as per Ulysses remote attendance policy):
Supervisor- Katelin Olson
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Mr. Boggs moved to approve the agenda. This was seconded by Ms. Marino and passed unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
A Fund discussion highlights:
Ms. Wright noted changes since the last discussion are noted, including the following:
• Supervisor’s Office
o Secretary to Supervisor- line is for admin support to also assist Planning, Code depts.
o Ms. Marino recommends changing the fund line to Project Asst. line rather than Sec to
Supervisor and increasing it to 20 hrs/wk- all agreed
• Attorney decrease
• Town Hall EQ and Capital Outlay- substantial increase due to facilities maintenance and IT
updates- many offset by ARPA funds
o Discussion of whether this should come out of fund balance instead
• Youth Programs- increase mostly due to Recreation Partnership dues

Ms. Olson adjourned the meeting at 12:15pm.
