Fire/EMS 2015 Budget
Town of Ulysses
September 10, 2014

The meeting was held at the Trumansburg Fire Hall at 74 W. Main Street, Trumansburg.
The Town Board met jointly with the Village of Trumansburg, and members of the Covert and Hector
town boards for the purpose of discussing the proposed 2015 fire and EMS budgets.
PRESENT:
Supervisor- Liz Thomas
Board members- Rich Goldman, John Hertzler, Nancy Zahler, David Kerness
Clerk- Carissa Parlato
OTHERS PRESENT:
Covert town board members; Hector town board members; Trumansburg Village trustees, clerk, and
treasurer; Brian Snyder (EMS manager); Jason Fulton (Fire Chief)
Ms. Thomas called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
The clerk called the roll.
Mr. Snyder presented the 2015 EMS budget, highlighting the areas with an increase or decrease.
A question and answer session ensued.
Mr. Fulton presented two EMS budget scenarios 2015; all boards agreed on the less expensive.
The group discussed starting up a steering committee composed of 1-2 representatives from each
participating municipality. All agreed.
ADJOURN:
Mr. Goldman made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:53 pm, seconded by Mr. Kerness.
