CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Olson called the meeting to order at 8:01am.

APPOINTING NIELS TYGESEN AS ULYSSES TOWN PLANNER
RESOLUTION # 116 OF 2022: APPOINTING NIELS TYGESEN AS ULYSSES TOWN PLANNER
WHEREAS,the Town of Ulysses has been searching for a full-time planner since fall 2021
through the Tompkins County Civil Service system; and
WHEREAS,Mr. Niels Tygesen is an experienced municipal planner with a deep range of
knowledge concerning community planning;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDthe Town Board appoints Mr. Tygesen as the full-time
planner and zoning officer for the Town of Ulysses, effective August 29, 2022, for a salary of
$75,000/year.

EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Ms. Marino moved to go into Executive Session at 8:04am for the advice of counsel. This was
seconded by Ms. Bouchard and passed unanimously.
Ms. Bouchard moved to end Executive Session at 8:39am. This was seconded by Mr. Boggs and
passed unanimously.

ADJOURN
Ms. Bouchard made a motion to adjourn at 8:39am. This was seconded by Ms. Marino and passed
unanimously.
