HomeMy WebLinkAboutLL#4 of 2018, Amend Official Zoning MapTOWN OF LANSING, TOMPKINS COUNTY, NEW YORK LOCAL LAW NUMBER 4 OF 2018 A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE TOWN OF LANSING AND CHANGE THE ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS OF 4 PARTICULAR PARCELS (AMENDING LOCAL LAW #1 OF 2015, WHICH ADOPTED AN UPDATED LAND USE LAW AND UPDATED ZONING MAP, TO THE EXTENT OF CHANGING THE ZONING MAP AS SET FORTH IN THIS LOCAL LAW #4 OF 2018) Be it enacted by the Town of Lansing as follows: SECTION 1: This Local Law amends zone parcel boundaries for two small areas of the Town of Lansing Zoning Map, and does not create any new zones, zone types, or classifications therefor. SECTION 2: The official Zoning classifications of and for the following properties, and the official Zoning Map of the Town of Lansing, be and hereby are amended as follows: a. Change TPN 31.-1-18, TPN 31-1-15.21, and TPN 31.-1-15.1 from IR Zone (Industrial and Research) to B1 (Commercial), to match the zoning on the westerly side of State Route 34 and the zoning of the Town Center lands of which such parcels are a part. b. Change TPN 37.1-3-18 from R1 (Residential) to B2 (Business) in the Town Center area, including to match neighboring B2 zoned parcel along Triphammer Road with same owner, and to extend zoning to the street lines. SECTION 3: Except as set forth in § 2 of this Local Law, Local Law #1 of 2015 and the Town of Lansing’s official Zoning Map remain unchanged and in force and effect. SECTION 4: If any part or provision of this Local Law or the application thereof to any person or circumstance be adjudged invalid by any court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction, such judgment or determination shall be confined in its operation to the part or provision or application directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered and shall not affect or impair the validity of the remainder of this Local Law or the application thereof to other persons or circumstances, and the Town of Lansing hereby declares that it would have passed this Local Law, or the remainder hereof, had such invalid application or invalid provision been apparent. SECTION 5: This Local Law shall take effect immediately.
