Present: Deputy Supervisor Elizabeth Thomas; Councilpersons David Kerness, Kevin Romer
and Lucia Tyler; Town Clerk Marsha Georgia.

Ms . Thomas called the meeting to order at 7 p . m. . .
Ms . Thomas said that according to municipal law, it is legal to go into executive session for
"discuss matters related to the appointment, promotion, demotion, discipline or removal of a
particular person or corporation". However, there is some case law on open government that
indicates this is not proper if the appointment of a person is an elected official . In light of this
gray area, we will not be going into executive session to interview candidates for the position of
Town Board.
The Board interviewed the following residents interested in serving as a Town Board member
until December 31 , 2013 :
• Christopher Hamilton
• Benjamin Carver
• Alan Vogel
• John Hrubos
• Todd Searles
• Nancy Zahler

After no further business the Board approved unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 10 : 15 p .m .
