TUESDAY, AUGUST 29, 2023, AT 7:00 PM

The meeting was called into session with the Pledge of Allegiance at 7:00 PM.
Motion to Enter into Executive Session for the advice of Legal Counsel was made by Councilperson
Gamel, seconded by Councilperson Klumpp at 7:01 PM
Motion to Resume Regular session with no decisions being made was made by Supervisor Scheffler,
seconded by Councilperson Clark at 7:45 PM
RESOLUTION #23-075‐ AUTHORIZE THE TOWN SUPERVISOR DON SCHEFFLER,
WITH THE ADVICE OF COUNSEL, TO ENTER INTO ANY NEGOTIATION OR
AGREEMENTS RELATIVE TO THE YELLOW BARN SOLAR PROJECT IN THE TOWNS
OF GROTON AND LANSING, WITH FINAL APPROVAL FOR THE TOWN OF GROTON,
TO REST WITH THE TOWN BOARD
MOVED BY Councilperson Young seconded by Councilperson Klumpp, to authorize the Town
Supervisor, Don Scheffler with the advice from legal counsel, to enter into any negotiations or
agreements relative to the Yellow Barn Solar Project in the Towns of Lansing and Groton, with final
approval for the Town of Groton, to rest with the Town Board.
Ayes – Clark, Young, Klumpp, Gamel, Scheffler, Resolution Passed
Nays -
There being no further business, Councilperson Gamel moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilperson
Clark, at 7:55 pm. Unanimous.
