CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Olson called the meeting to order at 8:15am.
ATTENDANCE:
TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT:
Supervisor- Katelin Olson
Board members- Rich Goldman, Roxanne Marino
Town Clerk- Carissa Parlato
Highway Superintendent- Scott Stewart
ABSENT:
Michael Boggs, Mary Bouchard
OTHERS:

APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Ms. Marino moved to approve the agenda. This was seconded by Ms. Olson and passed unanimously.
APPROVAL OF INCREASE IN CAPITAL EXPENSE PERTAINING TO THE TRAILER FOR THE MINI EXCAVATOR
Mr. Stewart explained that board had already approved this purchase but due to various global and
supply chain issues, it is a bit more costly than anticipated. He also explained that it was necessary to act on it
quickly.
RESOLUTION #63 OF 2022: APPROVAL OF INCREASE IN CAPITAL EXPENSE PERTAINING TO THE
TRAILER FOR THE MINI EXCAVATOR
WHEREAS, the trailer for the Highway Department’s recently acquired mini excavator is a specialized
piece of equipment and is necessary for transporting the mini excavator to job sites; and,
WHEREAS, $17,235 was allocated for the purchase of this trailer in the adopted 2022 budget; and
WHEREAS, supply chain challenges have limited the availability of the needed model and increased the
costs of transporting it by $1,876; and
WHEREAS, this purchase is on a New York State contract and fulfills required New York State and Town
of Ulysses procurement processes;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Ulysses approves the purchase of the trailer for the mini excavator
from Felling Trailers for $19,201.
