SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
JUNE 1 , 2009
Present : Supervisor Douglas Austic ; Council David Kerness, Elizabeth Thomas and
Lucia Tyler; Rod Ferrentino absent; and Town Clerk Marsha L. Georgia.

Review of Comprehensive Plan
Ms . Thomas pointed out that in the table of contents the numbers have to be re-checked
and this will be pointed out to Bergmann. Example the "Existing Zoning Map" in the
table of contents says page 89 and it should be page 91 . Also under the Land Use Policies
at the end of each description the Policy should have a page number reference and the
objectives should have page numbers .

The Board had a long discussion to the reference to what changes they had made on the
chart at another meeting of adding where they had added small-scale transitional
commercial .
No changes were made.

Move 2 . lb to the proper numerical order
Take and ad all the Phase l ' s (listed starting on page 183 ) into this table — l . 1 g, 3 . 1a, 4 . 2a
and 4 . 2b
On page 59 include the page numbers for the Appendix ' s
Board went back to review the prior changes made on Table 1 — Summary of Future Land
Use Plan Categories .
They would like to have the page numbers of the written descriptions included on the
table .
When Bergmann comes to meet with the Board they would like him to explain the
Conversation Area as it appears on the map .
The purple on the map (Office and Technology Mixed-Use) was changed . It was
shortened to only include Rider Sports and the Pool business then come straight across
the road, also fill in the cut out area.
4.0 Future Land Use page 37
The Board discussed adding a new paragraph under Purpose, which would be the second
paragraph to read as follows :
Considering this future Land Use Plan the Town should review all existing PUD ' s and
Commercial properties outside the proposed future commercial areas in the context of the
Comprehensive Plan.
Hearing no further information the meeting adjourned at 9 : 10 pm .
