HomeMy WebLinkAboutZBA Minutes 1988-11-09 FILED TOWN OF ITHACA Date • Zoning Board of Appeals Clerk November 9 , 1988 TOWN OF ITHACA ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS NOVEMBER 9 , 1988 A Regular Meeting of the Town of Ithaca Zoning Board of Appeals was called for on November 9 , 1988 at the Ithaca Town Hall , 126 East Seneca Street , Ithaca , New York . PRESENT : Chairman Henry Aron , Board Member Eva Hoffmann . ALSO PRESENT . Daniel and Lynne Wilks , John Whitcomb , Roger Sovocool , Janet Jonson , James C . Rogan , Betsy Darlington , John and Kathy Izzo , Sue and Bill Grover , Shirley Valenza . The public meeting opened at 7 : 00 p . m . Chairman Aron stated that all posting , publication , and • notification of the public hearings had been completed and that proper affidavits of same were in order . Chairman Aron stated that in order to conduct a public hearing , and make decisions on cases before the Board , we have to have a quorum . Out of five Board members there has to be three Board members present to have a quorum , by law . He reported that he had been informed a short time ago that there are three Board members who are unable to attend the„ meeting tonight . He stated that , for that reason , the Board cannot hold any public hearings whatsoever this evening . As we do not have a quorum , he will have to adjourn the meeting tonight until November 30 , 1988 , at 7 : 00 p . m . The meeting on November 30th will not be re - advertised as it has already been posted and publicized . He thanked the public for attending the meeting this evening and he hoped to see everyone on November 30 when the same agenda will be before the Zoning Board of Appeals .
