Meeting Minutes
June 4, 2008

Present: Sue Poelvoorde, Chair; Bob Brown ; Heather Filiberto ; Rod Hawkes ; David Tyler;
Roxanne Marino ; Bob Weatherby; John Wertis ; Elizabeth Thomas ; Sue Ritter.
Ms. Poelvoorde called the meeting to order at 7 : 08 p .m .
Liz Thomas introduced Ben Carver. Ben is willing to be the clerk for the committee. The duties of the
new clerk were discussed. Liz will speak with the Town Board and Marsha about getting Ben on the
payroll .
The committee continued to review the objectives and action statements recommending changes . The
committee agreed to continue the review on June 16, 2008 .
The Future Land Use Plan was discussed. Specific changes discussed and approved to be recommended
to Bergmann included :
• Rounding out the lines of the different land use areas,
• Removing the commercial area on Rabbit Run Road ,
• Reducing the Cluster Residential area between the Krums Corners and Iradell Roads,
• Defining the characteristic of the conservation zone along Cayuga Lake, including : 15 degree
slope, erodible soil, view, unique habitat/natural area, etc .
Ms . Poelvoorde stated that the Committee will reconvene on June 16, 2008 , 7 : 00 p .m. to continue to
review the objectives and action statements .
The meeting was adjourned at 10 : 20 p .m.
