LOCAL LAW NO. 17 OF THE YEAR 2009
A LOCAL LAW AMENDING FEE PROVISIONS IN CHAPTER 100, TITLED
"ADULT USES", OF THE TOWN OF ITHACA CODE TO PROVIDE FOR THE
SETTING OF FEES BY TOWN BOARD RESOLUTION
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 100 (Adult Uses) of the Town of Ithaca Code, Section 100-6,
titled "Fees," is amended by deleting subsections A through C and replacing them with
the following:
"A. Every application for a new adult entertainment business license
shall be accompanied by the nonrefundable application and
investigation fee set from time to time by Town Board resolution.
B. Every application for a renewal of an adult entertainment business
license shall be accompanied by the nonrefundable application and
investigation fee set from time to time by Town Board resolution.
C. Every application for an adult entertainment business employee
license (whether for a new license or for renewal of an existing
license) shall be accompanied by the annual nonrefundable
application, investigation and license fee set from time to time by
Town Board resolution."
Section 2. In the event that any portion of this law is declared invalid by a court
of competent jurisdiction, the validity of the remaining portions shall not be affected by
such declaration of invalidity.
Section 3. This local law shall take effect on January 1, 2010.
