LOCAL LAW NO. 5 OF THE YEAR 2009
A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 184 OF THE TOWN OF ITHACA CODE,
TITLED "NOISE," REGARDING MULTIPLE NOISE PERMIT APPLICATIONS
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 184 of the Town of Ithaca Code (Noise), Article III (Permits),
Section 184-12, titled "Permit procedure; fee", subsection C is amended by adding the
words "or applications" after the phrase "the filing of the permit application", and by
deleting the words "noise permit application" so subsection C reads as follows:
"C. At the time of the filing of the permit application or applications, the
applicant shall pay the Town a nonrefundable fee as specified in Chapter
153, Fees, of the Town of Ithaca Code."
Section 2. In the event that any portion of this law is declared invalid by a court
of competent jurisdiction, the validity of the remaining portions shall not be affected by
such declaration of invalidity.
Section 3. This local law shall take effect upon its filing with the New York
Secretary of State.
