LOCAL LAW NO. 6 OF THE YEAR 2009
A LOCAL LAW REVISING THE FEES FOR DOG LICENSES IN CHAPTER 112, TITLED
"ANIMALS," OF THE TOWN OF ITHACA CODE
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 112 (Animals) of the Town of Ithaca Code, Article I (Dog Control and
Licensing), Section 112-9, titled "License fees," is amended by:
A. Deleting subsections A through D in their entirety;
B. Adding new subsections A and B reading as follows:
"A. The following fee schedule is established:
(1) For neutered male and spayed female dogs:

(2) For unneutered male
and unspayed female dogs:

B. In the event that the State of New York changes any of the state fees set forth
above, the total fee to be charged shall be modified to conform the portion of the
fee that is a state fee to the then -current state fee charges."
C. Relettering current subsection E as subsection C.
Section 2. In the event that any portion of this law is declared invalid by a court of competent
jurisdiction, the validity of the remaining portions shall not be affected by such declaration of invalidity.

Section 3. This local law shall take effect upon its filing with the New York Secretary of State.
