A LOCAL LAW AMENDING LOCAL LAW NO. 1 OF 1971 WHICH PROVIDED
FOR A PARTIAL TAX EXEMPTION OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY CERTAIN
PERSONS WITH LIMITED INCOME WHO ARE 65 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER.
Section 1. This law is enacted pursuant to the provisions
of Section 67 o 4-7 - the Real Property Tax Law as added to by

Chapter 616 of the Laws of 1966 and as amended through Chapter
187 of the Laws of 1977.
Section 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 467
of the Rea Property Tax Law, as at more particularly
specified, Section 2 of Town of Ithaca Local Law tics® 1 of
1971 is hereby amended to raise the income limitation herein
to $7,200.00.
Section 3. This Local Law shall not apply to any
taxes assess ecT—Prior to the effective date of adoption.
Section 4. This Local Law shall become effective
immediat-el—y.
