SECTION 1.
The final paragraph of the water rate schedule appended to
Local Law No. 5, of the year 1979, which was effective
January 1, 1980, is hereby amended to read as follows:
A surcharge will be due and payable at the same time as the
charges hereinabove provided. The revenues derived from
this surcharge will be used for repairs and maintenance of
the Town-Wide Water Improvement, except that a certain
percentage thereof. will be used for repairs and maintenance
of the Town-Wide Sewer Improvement in the Town.' The charge
is now established at 12% of the water char"ge. Five-twelftbs
(5/12) of such surcharge is for repairs and maintenance of
wat(r lines and seven-twelfths (7/12) is for the repair and
maintenance of sewer lines.
SECTTON IT.
This Local Law shall become effective January 1, 1981.
