Special Town Board Meeting
February 15 , 2008
PRESENT : Supervisor Douglas Austic ; Council David Kerness, Elizabeth Thomas and
Lucia Tyler; Rod Ferrentino , absent ; Town Clerk Marsha L. Georgia; Deputy Supervisor
Richard Coogan.
Others Present: Geoffrey Hart, Roxanne Marino and Cara Hoffman, Free Press reporter.
Mr. Austic opened the meeting at 8 : 30 AM .
The Town Board has met today to be brought up to speed on the particulars of the
purposed Water District #5 and the previously approved Water District #3 .
* * The tapes are available for this review from 8 : 30 am until 12 : 10 pm .
The
Board discussed scheduling a meeting the following week at 9 AM and invited the
following to attend :
• Conference call with EFC and the State Health Department
• Eric Pond of Barton & Loguidice
• Representative from NYS Park
• Tompkins County Health Department representatives
• Dan Walker, Engineer Town of Ithaca
• Christian Nill
• Village of Trumansburg Trustees/Major
Hearing no further business the meeting was adjourned at 12 : 10 pm.
