Approved. Responsibility/mission items 1.Interaction with the ToD Boards ○No changes made to the town’s SPC page yet. ■https://dryden.ny.us/?page_id=206 ■See draft content requested (attached). ■Draft content includes a link to the resources page: https://sites.google.com/view/drydenspc/resources ○Swift911 was added to the town’s web page. ○Board meeting report from Feb - Nikki ○Next up to attend: ■March 17 - Elly ■April 21 - Sarah ■May 19 - Debra ■June 16 - Nikki 2.Local energy suppliers ○Borger Compressor Station (Eastern Gas) - Elly sent a couple blow down messages 2/18 and 2/21 via Swift911. Notified by Terri Hilliard the manager. ○They did notify Elly of an unscheduled blow down that happened early morning of 2/28. Notified by Rhonda at 6:45am. Elly did not send a Swift911 msg. ○Need a clear message of what to tell people to expect and do in the event of a blow down. We could put it on the resources page. ○They are still expecting the upgrades to be completed this month. 3.Disaster preparedness information dissemination ○Elly would like everyone’s address so she can drop off some example FEMA documents. ○Debra brought up sharing a personal emergency information sheet (frig) at tabling events. 4.Shelters spreadsheet - no discussion 5.Coordinate with other agencies (RC, TC) ○Elly let Geoff Dunn know that Swift911 is on the Town’s front page. There is going to be a new system replacing Swift911 starting in April -Tompkins County SIREN (or Safety & Incident Real-Time Emergency Notifications) on the RAVE Mobile Safety platform. 6.FEMA CERT program ○Need to communicate with Christina Dravis. ○There are CERT booklets with the FEMA resources Elly’s dropping off.
