Agenda and Discussion:
1.Approve previous month (Sept 2021) meeting minutes - done.
2.Vote on chair - passed unanimously, email board about new chair - done.
3.Vote on meeting time - First Monday of the month at 5pm, passed unanimously.
4.Member recruitment
○Need ad posted to CTB in East Hill (elly) and Southworth Library in Dryden (Sarah).
○NextDoor and TC-HSC mail list were submitted last month
5.Bylaws mission items (a-f) status updates?
○Interaction with board
■will send new chair to Deputy Clerk
■Committee members will take turns going to Town Board meetings, 3rd Thursday
of the month at 6pm

○Local energy suppliers (Swift911)
■Questions about Eastern Gas upgrade - will request info from Katie.
■Sent email to Dana about Eastern Gas contact re: Swift911 alerts
○Disaster preparedness information dissemination
■pamphlets at tables at community events
■information on Swift911
■could we have a page or a link to a page on the Town of Dryden website with info
on preparedness?
○Shelters spreadsheet
■Working on it slowly, waiting for email replies from contacts
■Consider map or list pamphlet insert when complete
○Coordinate with other agencies (TC, Red Cross, etc)
■Find out who to contact for TC Disaster Preparedness
■Will talk to Red Cross again when shelter list is farther along
○FEMA CERT program
■Correspondence/meeting with Christina to be scheduled
