TOWN OF DRYDEN
PLANNING BOARD MEETING
May 27, 2021

Present: John Kiefer, Chair, Craig Anderson, Tony Salerno, Daniel Bussmann,
Joe Wilson, Linda Wagenet, Alice Green (alternate), Simon St Laurent (alternate)
Absent: Tom Hatfield
Staff: Ray Burger, Planning Director
Liaisons: Dan Lamb & Loren Sparling (Town Board)
Chair John Kiefer called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Climate Action Plan
The board reviewed the climate action plan strategies with Sam Gordon, Amanda Mazzoni and
Chris Carrick of EDR and the priority scores assigned to each. Minutes of that discussion can be found
on the Dryden2045 website.
Comments due on Reports
Drinking Water Source Protection Program - due June 7, 2021
Cayuga Lake Total Maximum Daily Load Report - due July 8, 2021
Approval of Minutes
There was discussion about the minutes of the March 25 meeting. C Anderson noted that
pricing information provided at the meeting by one of the consultants was later acknowledged by them
to be inaccurate. A Green moved that the minutes be approved, seconded by J Wilson.*

Other Business
The board discussed a potential stormwater violation, its history and that the Planning
Department had been unable to bring the matter to court due to Covid restrictions. C Anderson would
like to reintroduce a resolution on enforcement in the near future.
