Summary:
The following items were discussed during a Broadband Committee Meeting held on 14 May 2021.
1. Financial review update with Cornell study group
a. Six month look ahead from Ryan
i. Phase 1 Estimate approx $2.4 Million
1. Includes $1.25M from ARC Grant
a. Can we start construction before these funds are awarded and still
receive the funding?
2. Includes $1.15M from ARP Funds (lines up well with the current Town
discussions)
3. Includes $625,000 from local share
4. $727,000 is a variable cost for customer installs associated with P1
2. Schedule Updates
a. May Goals
I. Secure Customer Contractor
ii. Preliminary Permitting
iii. Pricing for the Village & Rail Trail, Unit Prices
b. June Goals
I. Review Pricing from SU and LightSpeed

i. Jason has forwarded to Legal Advisor to determine that this complies with NY State Law
for procurement

9. Additional Items
a. Concrete Schedule for Jason to share with other groups and Town constituents
b. Clarification of the Design buildout narrative
c. Can we shift scope to hit underserved areas?
d. Continue to hold meetings for the group virtually - Jason to clarify whether this is possible
e. Customer information security - RFP's to point back to Town for clarification
