TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE
AQUIFER PROTECTION PERMIT
PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 178-46 of the Code of the Town of
Cortlandville, a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville,
County of Cortland, New York, on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as the parties may be heard, via Zoom video and telephone conferencing concerning an
application for an Aquifer Protection Permit.
The application is by Suit-Kote Corporation to replace two (2) 29,600 gallon tanks with two (2)
40,000 gallon tanks and adding two (2) 80,000 gallon tanks which will replace t wo (2) 63,000
gallon tanks, for property owned by Cortland Asphalt Products Co., located at 1902 Lorings
Crossing, tax map #77.00-01-22.000.
The property is located within the Aquifer Protection District (Area 1: Primary Aquifer Area) of
the Town of Cortlandville, and is in a Zoning District denominated B-2 (Highway Commercial
Business).
At the time and place of said hearing all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity
to be heard.
