January 28, 2022

The meeting was held via videoconference on the Zoom platform.

Notice of Town Board meetings are posted on the Town’s website and Clerk’s board.
CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Olson called the meeting to order at 8:03am.
ATTENDANCE:
TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT:
Supervisor- Katelin Olson
Board members- Michael Boggs, Rich Goldman, Mary Bouchard
Town Clerk- Carissa Parlato
OTHERS:
Roxanne Marino, Tom Myers
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Mr. Boggs moved to approve the agenda for Jan. 28, 2022. This was seconded by Ms. Bouchard and passed
unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
The group discussed the process for Town Board interviews and conducting them in public session rather than
Executive Session. The following items were also discussed:
• Development of a list of interview questions related to:
o Behavior supporting DEI initiatives
o Tell about yourself and why interested
o Zoning
o Strengths
o Different perspectives than what is currently represented
o Building consensus with others that you disagree with
• Length of interviews- discussion of 10 minutes to 1 hr. (consensus on 30 minutes)
• Discussion of when/how to do interviews- consensus on at board meeting on Feb. 8. (Regular business
will begin at 6pm and candidate interviews at 7pm.
PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR:
Ms. Marino suggested that the meeting agenda include the names of applicants and the time limit for each
question.
ADJOURN
Mr. Goldman made a move to adjourn at 8:31am. This was seconded by Ms. Bouchard and passed
unanimously.
