TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE
TAX COLLECTION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that I, Kristin E. Rocco-Petrella, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of
the Town of Cortlandville, County of Cortland and State of New York, have duly received the tax
roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Cortlandville for the year 2022 and
shall be in attendance at 3577 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and
from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, and 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on the last Saturday
during the month of January (01/29/2022), for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on the said
roll.
Tax payments will also be accepted by Credit/Debit or eCheck online at taxlookup.net. A direct link
is also available on the Town’s website: cortlandville.org. Additional fees will be charged for this
service.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2022 in full, without
charge or interest. Beginning February 1, 2022 one percent (1%) shall be added for each additional
month or fraction thereof thereafter until such taxes are paid or returned to the County Treasurer
pursuant to law.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that partial payment of taxes may be made in three (3) payments. The
first payment due January 31, 2022 shall be half (50%) of the amount of the tax levied, interest free;
the second payment due by March 15, 2022 shall be one quarter (25%) of the amount of tax as levied,
plus interest at the statutory rate, charged against the unpaid balance only; and the third payment due
by May 2, 2022 shall be the remaining one quarter (25%) of the amount of the tax as levied plus
interest at the statutory rate, charged against the unpaid balance only.
If taxes are unpaid as of May 3, 2022 and a second notice of taxes due is processed, an additional
charge of $2.00 (two dollars) will be levied and will become a part of the amount due.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax roll of the Town of
Cortlandville will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Cortland after June 1, 2022.
